When you call, our specially trained staff will ask you to describe your problem and then schedule an appointment for a consultation or consultation/surgery. Prior to treatment or surgery, we schedule examinations for all elective surgery patients and those with special medical conditions or anesthesia needs.

Your first appointment at our office will be to review your condition and medical history. Based on your physical condition, treatment options and anesthesia options will be presented. Your surgical appointment and necessary prescriptions as well as preoperative and postoperative instructions will be given at that time. Only occasionally will actual surgery be performed on the day of consultation. Please allow one hour of time for your consultation.

Please provide us with the following information at the time of your consultation:

1. Your surgical referral slip and any X-rays if applicable

2. A list of medications you are presently taking

3. If you have medical or dental insurance, bring the necessary cards and completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

Important: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (e.g. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (e.g. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, Fosamax, Actonel, etc.).
