Meet Dr. John

Dr. Anush A. John purchased this practice in 2015 when he moved to Maryland. In 1998 Dr. John received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Raja Rajeshwari Dental College in Bangalore, India, and he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2007. He completed his internship from the Louisiana State University in 2008. In addition, Dr. John has received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine from which he graduated in 2013 and completed his oral and maxillofacial training from Truman Medical Center/UMKC.

Dr. John is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Association, American Medical Association and is a candidate for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Currently, Dr. John holds certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support and is certified to administer anesthesia by the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners and is licensed to practice in the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Dr. John was voted in the Baltimore Magazine as a Top Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon by his peers in 2017.

In addition, Dr. John received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theology Seminary in Pasadena, California, and has a Master of Divinity degree from the Asian Institute of Theology, Bangalore, India.  He is also fluent in some (out of the more than 1000!) Indian languages. In addition to brushing up on his Greek knowledge, he is currently attempting to learn Latin during his spare time, to help his children out! He also seems to have taken a desire to learn paleontology and geology.
